Seeker 20

The Early Rider Seeker 20 is the rigid-fork trail option for riders who have developed the skills and confidence to take a well-specified kids' bike wherever they choose to ride. By keeping the fork rigid, the Seeker 20 stays lighter and more efficient than suspension alternatives - a worthwhile trade for riders who can handle the trail feedback and don't need the extra complexity.

Shimano Altus 8-speed rear derailleur, operated by Shimano 8-speed trigger shifters and a Shimano 8-speed 11-34t cassette, gives the Seeker 20 a well-sorted gear range for climbing and covering varied terrain. Trigger shifters offer precise, reliable gear changes that are intuitive for children to learn and consistent in use. The Crux 2pc alloy crankset with 30t narrow-wide chainring and KMC X8 chain keep the drivetrain clean and dependable.

Tektro J2820 hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm rotors front and rear deliver authoritative stopping power. On the faster, more varied terrain that 20-inch riders typically explore, reliable braking is fundamental to confidence and safety. The Tektro J2820 levers offer excellent modulation for precise speed control on technical sections.

Schwalbe Smart Sam 20 x 2.35" 67TPI tyres strike the balance between trail grip and rolling efficiency exceptionally well. The 67TPI casing gives a more supple, confident ride than lower-thread-count alternatives, and the tread pattern handles hardpack, gravel, and woodland paths with equal aplomb.

Disc-specific double-walled AL6061 rims with through-axle fitment (12 x 100mm / 12 x 142mm) add precision and stiffness to the wheel interface. At 8.7kg, the Seeker 20 manages its specification well. Available in Brushed, Forest Green, Electric Purple, and Nordic Blue.
