Seeker 14

The Early Rider Seeker 14 is built for the child who wants to follow their parents onto the trail, not wait at the car park. It brings genuinely off-road-capable specification to a 14-inch bike - starting with a disc-specific 6061-T6 aluminium frame and extending through to Crux hydraulic disc brakes and Kenda Booster tyres.

Crux hydraulic disc brakes with 140mm rotors front and rear are a meaningful step beyond V-Brakes at any wheel size, but particularly at 14 inches, where terrain can be more challenging and children are learning to manage speed on unfamiliar surfaces. Short-reach Crux brake levers are designed for small hands, making it easier for young riders to achieve effective braking without full hand strength.

Kenda Booster 14 x 2.25" 30TPI tyres are wider and more aggressively treaded than standard path tyres, providing the contact patch and grip profile needed for gravel paths, compacted dirt, and light off-road surfaces. Combined with disc-specific double-walled AL6061 24h rims and through-axle spacing - 12 x 100mm front, 12 x 125mm rear - the wheel package is substantively more capable than typical 14-inch competition.

The single-speed Crux drivetrain with 26t chainring and dual chain guard keeps things uncomplicated. The KMC X9 chain adds quality to the drivetrain without complication. A rigid aluminium fork maintains predictable steering, and the sealed bearing headset keeps maintenance intervals long.

At 6kg, the Seeker 14 manages its specification impressively for its wheel size. The alloy stem and 440mm wide butted bars position young riders naturally and in control. Available in Brushed, Sage Green, Violet Haze, and Arctic Blue.
